We wanted to be near the cruise ship marina but still able to be in an interesting and walkable are Hotel del Mar met those criteria
Everything was acceptable except the old fashioned hair dryer. They are awful I haven’t seen one in years. Hotels now offer a modern plug in model.

Breakfast was amazing
Acknowledged our request for a special setting for wedding anniversary but didn’t make any change. Room had 2 small beds instead of a king size. Also nothing to heat water or food in the room.

Nice hotel with decent location and good amenities. Breakfast was good. Very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Good for a few nights.
Decor was a little dated and bathroom had an awkward layout.

Loved this property, mainly because of its excellent location. Close walk to Gothic area, restaurants, marina area and not much further to beach. Bus and taxi services outside. Hop on Hop off bus stop 2 mins away. Room is not flash, but spacious and comfortable. Possibly needed some drawers. There is a small safe in the room but you have to ask for key at reception (free) - not sure why that is not given automatically. Had a small balcony but could not use much as a festival was on across the road, and it decided to rain quite a bit while there. Still think it would be worth having for a longer stay. Front reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Bags stored on arrival as not check in time.
No jug or ability to make hot drink in room.

Breakfast Buffet was excellent.. Help was friendly and helpful.
Cockroach in the room. Room smelled hevauly of bleach when we entered. No view.... Bed was not particulalry comfortble. A NO FRILLs kind of place. Good for a one night stand... 2 if necessary..

Exceptional
Corner unit with fantastic views. It was an unexpected surprise. Large and spacious with 2 balcony’s. Would definitely return to Hoel Del Mar.
